Yes I think my computer is very up-to-date (built it myself about 10 months ago). Maybe I need to tweak it again as Win 10 has had some recent big updates. I use my desktop as a regular computer but went thru all the recommended tweaking I found from UA's website for using one's computer for both Apollo tasks and just as a regular computer. I'm gonna install it later tonight and see if it finds any issues. On the Sonar forums, I found a new tool that measures how ready your system is for low latency recording. I've tried both assigning my midi converter and assigning nothing and it doesn't seem to improve things one way or the other. I see there is a midi device tab in the UA console but I'm not sure what to do there if anything. Before my Apollo days I could record the midi drums at 32 fairly consistently with my Roland Octa-Capture usb2 sound card. Have you tried it at 32 which is preferred for low latency? I often have to go to 128 but then edit notes forever to get it in sync.
